Teachers who attended the workshops would have gained a refreshed understanding and approach on how to both teach and assess students registered to undertake the City & Guilds Skills Proficiency Awards (3529). As instructors, they would have also gained clear knowledge into the units and modules of the qualification so that they provide training and instruction as per the curriculum standards set by City & Guilds London.
Participants in the workshop would have gained a refreshed knowledge and understanding on : Guiding students on concepts as per training/skills area, Occupational Health and Safety, ability to explain the relevance of equipment and software required to carry out tasks as per service area, Ensuring service stations and equipment are functional and fit for purpose, Describing task procedures, the Quality Assurance Process for training and assessment and the relevant assessment procedures.
The key subject areas covered were: IT for Office Procedures, Basic Electrical Installation, Basic Food Preparation, Basic Motor Vehicle Maintenance.
