Understand a range of texts, identify purpose, key points and points of view within them. They can present information to others, speak clearly and confidently and can obtain information by speaking and listening.

They can make relevant contributions to discussions on complex topics and adapt them to suit audience, context, purpose and situations. They are able to produce text that uses grammatically correct, complex and punctuated sentences. They can proof-read and revise their own writing for accuracy and to support meaning. They can write to communicate information and ideas clearly using the appropriate format and style for the intended audience.
