This credential recognises that this individual has been trained and approved to operate as a Lead Moderator of City & Guilds qualifications in their subject-specific area.

  • supported the PM to standardise and quality assure an allocated team of moderators to mark to the required standard

  • in-depth knowledge of the structure and content of the qualification  

  • thorough understanding of the City & Guilds marking, moderation and awarding processes 

  • able to produce relevant Lead Moderator paperwork 

  • effectively supported the PM in the delivery of moderator training modules

  • effectively supported the PM in the delivery of standardisation events 

  • able to manage the performance of a team of moderators and provide effective, incisive performance feedback.
