This qualification is for candidates who work or want to work as Jewellery Makers in the Jewellery manufacturing sector. This level is aimed at those learners who wish to enter a career in the Goldsmithing sector including many of the Allied trades. The qualification will provide proof of a basic practical ability, knowledge and understanding of a craft at a recognised standard, which will be attractive to any employer. This qualification has four pathways; General Blacksmithing, Artistic Blacksmithing, Heritage Blacksmithing, Industrial Blacksmithing.
