This credential is issued to organisations who are approved to deliver Global Hospitality Certification by City & Guilds, a global leader in skills development and innovation. The Certification is the global skills benchmark to recognise the skills and experience of people in the hospitality industry. It has been co-designed with employers, in partnership with Worldchefs, the global professional body for chefs.

Earning Criteria

Successfully completed an initial review undertaken by a City & Guilds subject matter expert against the global skills benchmark for the hospitality industry.
Provided detailed information on the training programme(s) mapped including the curriculum, assessment and internal quality assurance.
Took part in an Approval Activity which reviewed the key systems, processes and resources in place to enable the successful implementation of Global Hospitality Certification.
Shared copies of key policies including health and safety, complaints, malpractice and maladministration, equal opportunities and appeals.
Provided an overview and related documentation for work experience arrangements including duration, locations, partner employers and quality assurance.
Met the criteria and the required quality standards to deliver Global Hospitality Certification to provide professional recognition for the skills and experience of learners progressing into or already working in the hospitality industry.
